Tutorials

These tutorials were written with beginners in mind, so they'll start in the very basics. I hope there's something new for more advanced artists as well. If you're a pro, you might get a good laugh out of these. :)

There are no absolute rights or wrongs in art, these tutorials only contain my observations, my opinions and the way I work. Please don't take anything I've written as a rule.

This tutorial is about drawing animesque characters, because that's what I've done a lot and feel confident of writing a tutorial about. :)

The program used in the tutorials is Adobe Photoshop 7. As far as I know things work pretty much the same in Photoshop CS, but older versions have inferior brush options. You should however be able to accomplish everything described in these tutorials with a photoshop-equivalent program that has layers. Having a graphics tablet will help a lot.
